UX en español
The idea was to create a platform where people could, on one hand, as job seekers, find jobs and apply, and on the other hand, as recruiters, post job offers.
Challenges
Knowing that finding a job is not an easy thing to do, we wanted to make it as simple as possible. That’s why we decided to go with a minimalistic style with a calm and positive color palette.
We wanted to give all the necessary information but avoid cognitive load. Additionally, the aim was to have similarities to already existing platforms on the same subject, but also to stand out with our design.
Project Team
This time, I had an opportunity to work with Senior Product Designer, Fernando, from whom I learned a lot, and got the feeling how it is to work in a great, friendly and professional enviorment.
Fernando is a Product Designer at Taxy.io and the Founder of UX en español. With so many years of experience, he is still always interested in technology, new approaches to design, and is an amazing tortilla maker.
User's Side
User Flow
One of the greatest things that I’ve learned during this project is making a user flow in a bit of a different way.
And that is creating a user flow as a user journey, so instead of just naming the screens where the user should go, creating all the information that that screen has and all the options is better for seeing the big picture.
Below is shown just one side of the big picture, the job seeker’s side of this platform.

User Flow- Take-aways
After creating this "a bit different" user flow, I realised how practical that was because we had already invested in the visualisation and position of elements.
This approach combines strategy, logic, design, and the ability to see the big picture.
At the beginning, it may seem a bit complicated, but at the end, everything is in one place, connected.
